College Minister/
Seth Simmons
Seth was brought on staff to begin a Campus Ministry for University Church of Christ in January of 2006. He has been involved in ministry for 13 years, 8 of which were spent serving in the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Jenny, are very involved in the lives of college students on the campuses of Univ. of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College.
Jenny graduated from Harding Univ. with her bachelor and masters and has moved on to become a Dermatology PA.
When they aren't hard at work they love watching the UCA Bears, St. Louis Cardinals, Memphis Redbirds, and hanging out with their 3 Jack Russell Terriers (Stiles, Pistol, & Nash).
Preaching Minister/
Dusty Rush
Dusty came to UCC in August of 2002. He has been involved in ministry for 14 years, including inner city ministry in St. Louis, MO and Campus Ministry at LSU. He and his wife, Crystal, met while students at Harding Univ. Dusty and Crystal have 4 children. Crystal is a First Grade Teacher in the Conway School District. When they are together with the family they enjoy golfing, reading, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Youth & Family Minister/
Jason Turner
Jason has been at UCC since 2005. Before that Jason spent 2 1/2 years working in Temple TX, as a youth minister. He and his wife, Shannon, met while attending Abilene Christian Univ. They recently had an addition to their home with the birth of their daughter, Addison Grace. Shannon is a Nurse at baptist hospital in Little Rock. In their spare time Jason loves being outdoors fishing, hunting, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Shannon loves to spend her time reading and watch Addison.
Childrens Minister/
Laura Cottongim
Laura came to UCC as a youth intern in the summer of 2006 and 2007. She graduated Harding University with an education degree in 2008 and was hired as the Childrens Minister at UCC that summer. Laura and her husband Drew recently married this past June, having met as youth interns for UCC in 2007. Drew is a manager at Starbucks and in his spare time he hangs out with teens, plays frisby golf, reads, plays video games and helps Laura with her ministry. Laura enjoys scrapbooking, reading,and watching movies. They both enjoy traveling and cooking together.
Secretary/
Pat Puckett
Pat has been at UCC for 21 years. She and her husband, Marty, met at Harding Univ. They have four children (Lauren, Mason, Kevin, & Catherine), and recently became grandparents. Mason is a junior at UCA and is very active in UCC Student Ministries. Marty has worked at Acxiom for 21 years but also takes the time to lead the praise team at UCC. When away from the office they enjoy traveling to watch their youngest, Catherine, play basketball for Vilonia High School. They are also very involved in the praise team and organizing worship.
