2:00 – Neighborhood cookout

For those who want to stick around to worship w/River City Church family, their worship beginsat 11a.m.
Seth Simmons(UCA) will be bringing the message.
Weekend Assignments:
River City Church Painting (40-50 people)
We will be painting the outside of the building. With about 40 painters it should take about 3 hours.
Creative Painting (15-20 people)
We
will also be painting the windows in the front of the building and the
kids classes with creative scenes. We need talented artists from each
ministry!
Cooking (15-25 people)
We, along with members of River City Church, will be hosting a cookout for the entire neighborhood.
Canvassing/Advertising (as many as possible)
We
want the entire neighborhood to be aware of the good things happenning
at River City. Anthony will guide a group as they talk to people and
hang flyers.
"Power Hour" (20-25 people)
Part of the canvassing group will provide a VBS-style hour of singing,
skits, etc. for the children of the neighborhood. We need the most
outgoing students of each ministry to sign up for this group.
"Chem-Free" House Work (20 people)
Some of the people at River City have purchased houses in the
neighborhood and remodeled them in order to provide "chem
(chemical)-free" housing. This serves as an outreach and safe-haven
for individuals trying to live substance-free. We will need students
interested in doing things like putting up dry wall, interior painting,
and, if we're lucky, demolition!
